Throwing your back out every couple of months? There’s a reason for that – and we can fix it.

Throwing your back out every couple of months? There’s a reason for that – and we can fix it.

Any time we see someone come in every three months with a thrown-out back, it’s probably because of a posterior pelvic tilt with an opposing spinal curve.

In layman’s terms, your pelvis is tilted excessively forward, and your spine changes its curve to compensate, which is a very unhealthy way for your bones to behave. It’s usually caused by an excess of sedentary behavior, especially things like sitting at a desk for long periods of time with poor posture.

We get a lot of people walking through our doors, and at least once a week, someone comes in bent over with pain and unable to stand up because they’ve thrown out their back yet again.
